Dust:
Use a clothing roller.

Superficial stains:
Use a little water with a paper towel or wet wipes.

Stubborn stains:
Water only will not do the trick. Think about sweat stains that has been there a long time or dark spots on a light cap, like mud. The best thing that works in this case is to wash your cap by hand(!) with water and soap. The shape of the cap deforms in the washing machine and that can’t be easily restored. Be careful with the visor of the cap.

You can use a special detergent with stain remover. Brands like Vanish, Persil, Ariel, Dalli, Tide and Shout have detergents especially made with a stain remover. Use a little soap on the stains, let it sit for a while and then wash it off with water. Don't rub too hard on the cap.

If this doesn't work enough for the stains, it might help to repeat this step and wash it again until the stains fade away.
